Sheosar Lake Baltistan

Borith Lake Hunza Trek:

Borith Lake is one of the wild and fantastic lake in the lap of Upper Hunza. To witness large number of ducks from warmer parts of southern Pakistan. One should visit between the month of April to June. From Borith Lake, there is one hour hike to Ghulkin Glacier and a longer walk can lead you to Passu glacier is another attraction for tourists. Borith Lake is is located in Gojal, Upper Hunza Valley Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan. Borith is a hamlet in the surroundings of the Borith lake. Which is a part of Ghulkin, Gojal, in the upper Hunza. Residents of Ghulkin village are use the land for their irrigation purpose. They live at borith during summer time. The altitude of Borith is about 2,650 meters (8,550 feet) above the sea level.

Another astonishing place to visit in Skardu is the Sadpara Lake that is exalted at 8650 ft. above the sea level. The melting ice of the Deosai Plains are the main source of water for the lake and the lake spread over 2.5km. There is a fairy-tale scenic island in the midpoint of the lake. The turquoise blue water of the lake is so enthralling that attracts hundreds of tourist. Moreover, they enjoy boating, fishing and roaring in freshwater. Kachura Lake Skardu

Kachura Shangrilla Lake is also known as Shangrilla Lake is located in Kachura village in Skardu city at a height of 2,500 meters (8,200 feet). Shangrilla Resort built on its bank of Kachura lake in 1983. Shangrilla was named after a book title Lost Horizon which is written “James Hilton”. Upper Kachura Lake

The most mesmerizing lake of Skardu whose depth is almost 60 meters. It is located 20 km away from Skardu city. In summer, its temperature is almost 15 °C but in winter the weather is frozen. The beauty of the Upper Kachura Lake is almost unrestrained and mostly unsearched by tourists, because of lack of infrastructure and its rough area.

Katpana Lake

Moreover, it is approximately 4km away from the main city Skardu. There is a large range of trees alongside the lake that gives more amazement to the view. Attabad Lake

It is the most renowned lake among the  four huge lakes of Hunza. It is situated in Gojal Town of Upper Hunza Valley. The lake came into being in 2010 on account of a disaster. Thousand of local and foreign tourists visit the lake and enjoy themselves every year. Moreover, Attabad lake provides the tourists a chance to enjoy boating, jet skiing, fishing and other recreational activities.

Behind this beauty there is a tragic story. On January 4, 2010, there was a huge landslide in the area where the mountain collapsed over the residents. Many died. It is this area that has since collected the water, turned into a lake and naturally got that unique blue color. It is very beautiful, but at the same time a reminder to us about the power of nature that we still can not overcome or beat. The total estimate Length of Attabad lake is 21 km and Depth 109 m.
