Amazing Lakes in Naran Kaghan

Pakistan Blessed with many beautiful Landscapes. There are many Beautiful Lakes of Naran Kaghan. The some of the most scenic and enchanted lakes in Naran Kaghan Valley are as following.

Saif ul Malook Lake

It’s amazing to watch the reflection of the mountains in the water of this lake when the water is crystal clear and clean. So, The silence of the mountain touches your heart, the beauty of the view muses your mind, and the breeze speaks to your inner poet. Similarly, This place has such a majestic beauty that I cannot describe it in words. Moreover, There is a myth that fairies visit to take a bath around the middle of the  month. Additionally, Prince Saiful Malook is said to have loved a fairyland fairy and spent 12 years waiting for it by the lake. A ride up to Kunhar lake is enchanting because of the calm and the quiet river Kunhar. There is also a zigzag trail where you can go hiking.

Lake Water is Freeze You can’t touch its water, as it’s mostly frozen. The ice of the glacier melts in summer. During the summer months, you can see the frozen lake because it is covered with ice. Taking pictures and leaving the lake takes about 30 to 45 minutes. In fact, you really enjoy the Ansoo lake excursion if you are a fan of adventures, such as horseback riding and hiking. If you plan on going there, be prepared with pain medicines and food and drinks for eating and drinking. To visit this lake, You require Camping, hiking, and trekking. These lakes are in forested areas that are dangerous and deserted, so a tourist guide and security guard must accompany visitors.

Lulusar Lake

There are some lovely spots to camp on this trail near Gittidas, which is 48 kilometers away from Naran. Located just below Babusar Top and surrounded by high peaks, it is just before the steep final grade. This lake is 11,000 feet above sea level, out of which the river Kunhar issues with redoubled power to flow down into the valley. At first, the stream appears placid, then it turns into a raging  torrent until it joins the Jhelum. There is a blue and gold carpet of wildflowers that covers Lulusar Lake, which provides water to the Kunhar River. Lulusar lies along the crest of a ridge with a number of other high-elevation lakes.

The Kaghan Valley is home to several tranquil spots, including Lulusar Lake. Mountains surrounding the lake reflect the frozen waters, which are blue-green and standstill. A roughly three-kilometer-long lake, it has an “L” shape. There is an enchanting beauty to Lulusar. It is a view that stays in the mind of tourists for a long time in Beautiful Lakes of Naran Kaghan. There are few places in the valley as beautiful as the silent lake. After passing through Gittidas, the road continues on to Gilgit via Babusar Pass. Among the highest roads in the world is this one.

Sat Sari Mala Lakes

A series of seven lakes converge around Sat Sar Mala, 9 km ahead of Lulusar. Led by Satsar Mala, they describe a place of merging waters. Kaghan valley is the place where the lakes are located. The trek begins after reaching Lulusar lake, a few kilometers west of Besal. Name Sat-Sar Mala Lakes because the water from each falls in the next. There is only one destination in Upper Kaghan Valley that can compare to Sat Sar Mala Lakes. A series of five lakes cascades as the water from the top most lake falls into the next and so forth. As well as being the highest lake in Sat Sar Mala, Surkhail Lake is also the top cascade in the valley. 14100 feet – it is the highest point of the valley. Most of the lakes are snowbound most of the year and are only accessible during a short period of time.

Dudipatsar Lake

Dudipatsar is a lake nestled in the Kaghan valley at a height of 3900 meters. A dudi is a white or milky substance. A path is a mountain range, and a sar is a lake. With its surrounding peaks clad in snow, the lake is named after the reflection of that snow. A small village called Besal (3250 meters) is the starting point of the trail, which winds along the river Poorbi Naar(a tributary of the Kunhar). Plants and animals that inhabit the trail are quite diverse. There are many meadows and streams crossing over the trail as well as grazing cattle from nearby villages, making for a perfect hiking trail. On this trail, the villages live close to nature, using mostly natural resources and quite far from other parts of the world with more advanced technology.

Pyala Lake is a round lake in Jalkhand, Kaghan Valley, Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It is about fifty kilometres from Naran. Pyala Lake is an undeveloped lake, but it has a lot of significance as it is a bowl-shaped lake on the top of a mountain. You can visit it on the way to Lulusar Lake from Naran. It is a beautiful lake and a place of interest for tourists.

Sambaksar Lake Gittidas

Sambak means rocky wall, and Sar means lake, this lake stays frozen for 6 months out of 12 months and for 3 months the water makes clear water its view, frozen lake also looks very lovely, more dot to reach it. No need, just a 20 minute hike and the lake is 13,700 feet above sea level. One of the Beautiful Lakes of Naran Kaghan.

Dharamsar Lake Gittidas

Down to Babusar Top towards Gittidas, there is rough track which takes around 1 and half hour till first lake. 4X4 can reach there. From 1st lake it takes 45 mins to reach the 2nd one. The Dharamsar is a mountain lake in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province located in the valley of Kaghan. You have to drive between 45-60 minutes to reach the lake from the start of this jeep track. A memorable trek through tranquil and picturesque valleys awaits you. On the Karakoram Highway, it is located next to the larger Sambaksar and Ganai Gali, approximately 4,100 meters above sea level.
