Kumrat Valley is a beautiful and peaceful place in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is full of tall green pine trees, big snowy mountains, clean air, and cool rivers. The valley is quiet and far from busy cities, which makes it a perfect place for people who want to relax and enjoy nature.
Kumrat is part of the Hindu Kush mountain range and is about 7,500 feet above sea level. It is close to the Swat and Chitral areas. In the past, not many people knew about it because the roads were rough and it was far away. But now, more people are visiting because of its natural beauty.
To reach Kumrat Valley, you first go to Upper Dir from Islamabad or Peshawar by road. Then you travel to a town called Thal. From Thal, you need a 4×4 jeep to go into the valley because the road is rocky and not smooth.
There are many amazing places to visit in Kumrat Valley. Some famous spots include Kumrat Waterfall, which is surrounded by trees; Kala Chashma, which is a cold and fresh water spring; and Dojanga, where two rivers meet. People also love to visit the Jahaz Banda meadows and go for long treks to Katora Lake.
Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy this lovely valley. But it is very important not to harm the environment. Please do not throw trash on the ground or in the river. Take your garbage with you and help keep Kumrat clean and natural. If we all care for the valley, it will stay beautiful for many years to come.
