Nestled among towering mountains, Shahi Bagh is situated approximately 14 kilometers from Utror and 30 kilometers from Kalam valley, offering a distinctive landscape for visitors.
“I was captivated when I entered the valley after a challenging two-and-a-half-hour journey along the mountainous roads of Gabral. Trust me, there is no location in Swat quite like this valley,” remarked Faisal Saeed, a tourist who was appreciating the natural beauty alongside his friends.
The travelers remarked that this location was very different from other resorts in Pakistan due to its elevation of around 10,000 feet, surrounded by lofty mountains and with clean streams flowing nearby.
“This area is a paradise on earth with tranquil streams flowing around it, creating a small island accessible via a wooden bridge. It is a peaceful and serene place that brings a sense of calm and contentment,” stated Hayatullah, a visitor from Peshawar.
The tourists indicated that the valley was an ideal spot for overnight stays to savor all its hues and splendor.
“This is an excellent location for camping, as the small valley provides numerous delights. Its daytime beauty is unique and unparalleled, while its enigmatic charm under the night sky is truly enjoyable. I would encourage all lovers of nature to visit this place,” shared Ikram Khan, another guest.
“Although this spot is worth a visit, the road leading to it is treacherous and narrow, allowing only jeeps and four-by-four vehicles to navigate it.
“I am curious as to why the government does not construct better roads to access such locations,” expressed Mohammad Masood, a tourist from Peshawar, adding that everyone should make a trip to the site.
The tourists, however, emphasized the importance of keeping the beautiful area clean, as they noticed many plastic bags littering the valley.
Mohammad Qasim, a resident of Utror, mentioned that Shahi Bagh valley is accessible to tourists from mid-June until the end of August or the start of September.
