Astore valley with over 100 villages and spread over 5,092 sq. of land is 120 km long. It lies at the southeast of Gilgit and occupies the eastern side of Nanga Parbat (8,126), the magnificent peak. This beautiful mountain picturesque valley is at an altitude of 2,600m. Among its villages, Chilam is the starting point for Deosai, the second highest plane of the world. The dynamic climate conditions and mesmerizing landscape also makes this valley of great importance for the home to medically required plants. Minimarg Astore Trip Itinerary

Day 0: Departure from Lahore to Minimarg Tour

Depart from Lahore between 9:00 pm – 10:00 pm from our designated meeting point.

Day 1: Headed towards Chillas from Islamabad

  • Enjoy a brief 20-30 minute stop at a service area.
  • Participants will be picked up from Islamabad between 4:30 am – 5:00 AM at the Daewoo Terminal, located near NUST University.
  • We’ll have a Fajar prayer break en route and a delicious breakfast as we travel towards Chillas.
  • Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at Chillas/Bonar Das.

Day 2: Travel towards Astore Valley

  • Get ready for breakfast at 7:30 AM, and we’ll check out of the hotel by 8:30 AM for a scenic drive of 4-5 hours towards Astore.
  • We will switch to jeeps and head towards Rama Meadows and Rama Lake, where we’ll stay overnight.
  • Enjoy a fantastic dinner along with a cozy bonfire night under the stars.

Day 3: Explore Minimarg, Rainbow Lake via Burzil Top

  • After breakfast at Rama, we’ll set off for Chillam Check Post with a 3-hour drive.
  • Following this, we’ll depart for Minimarg with an exciting 2-hour journey ahead.
  • Be ready to explore Burzil Pass, Rainbow Lake, and Domail.
  • Dinner and an overnight camping experience will be at Domail
  • (or the Chillam Check post Guest House, depending on availability).

Day 4: Jeep ride to Deosai Plain and Sheosar Lake

  • Rise early for breakfast at 7:30 AM before we head out to the breathtaking Deosai Plains.
  • We’ll visit Shosher Lake, Kala Pani & Bara Pani
  • Brown Bear sightseeing depends on your luck
  • Photography of flora and fauna of Deosai Natioanal Park
  • Return to Traishing Valley for dinner and an overnight stay at the NPTC Guest House or an equivalent accommodation.

Day 5: Trek to Tarishing Valley - Nanga Parbat Rupal Face

  • We’ll wake up at 6:00 AM, followed by breakfast at 7:00 AM and Check out of the hotel by 8:00 AM.
  • You’ll have free time until noon to either explore Rupal Valley
  • Embark on a hike to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (hiking from Traishing) or take a jeep ride to Rupal from Traishing
  • Afterwards, we’ll head towards Astore and depart for Chillas, where dinner and another night’s stay will be at Bonar Das/Chillas Hotel.

Day 6: Travel back to Lahore Islamabad

  • Wake-up call is set for 4:00 AM, followed by breakfast en route as we travel towards Islamabad via the Naran side (contingent on the Babusar Top being open).
  • We’ll make a brief stop at a service area for sightseeing along the way.
  • Expect to be back in Lahore by midnight, with unforgettable memories in tow.

40 to 50 percent advance payment is required for the tour reservation. Remaining you will have to pay at the departure of the Tour. A receipt or ticket will be issued to you shortly after you make the advance payment.

What are Terms & Conditions?

  1. Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 pm, and check-out time is 10:00 am.
  2. Meals other than those specified are an exclusion from the package.
  3. Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
  4. ACs don’t work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
  5. Hotels are subject to availability; guests will be accommodated in similar properties if unavailable.
  6. The monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
  7. Children above 8 years of age will be considered adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
  8. All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  9. Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest when booking and upon arrival. 
  10. All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details when booking and upon arrival.
  11. Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, New Year’s, etc.). You can connect with us directly to get the best rates for these days.
  12. The prices may vary based on the season and the number of travelers traveling per day in a specific region, as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
  13. Any deviation from the Vehicle’s planned route at the customer’s request during the tour will be chargeable per km basis.
  14. Any breakage or damage of items at the hotels/resorts/camps/vehicles will be charged at actuals.
  15. The package cost will not accommodate personal expenses like portage, tips, laundry, mineral water, etc.
  16. TripMaker reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any disturbances (i.e., severe weather conditions, political unrest or others).
  17. Any rescheduling/rearrangement of a package due to circumstances beyond TripMaker’s control might invite additional hotel charges and/or vehicle charges.
  18. If a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, the traveler will bear all the expenses from that point onwards. Neither the operator nor TripMaker will be responsible for such decisions or refunds.
  19. Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.

Breakfast availability in a hotel mostly starts from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.
 
Please ensure you bring enough warm clothing and the correct shoes for the tour. Ideally, you should carry 20 kg of luggage in case you have to carry it to a backup vehicle, as well as to the accommodation.
 
Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The client will be responsible for the difference in costs if the package is amended due to an increase in guests or a change in the hotel.
 
The hotels are subject to their availability. The travelers will be accommodated in a property of a similar standard, in case they are unavailable.
 
The Nature Adventure Club reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary without changing the total number of days and without compromising any services if any disruption occurs (e.g. weather conditions, or political conditions).
 
The weather in Naran Kaghan is unpredictable and harsh, as a result, the hotels and their facilities cannot compare to those in similar locations in other parts of the country. They are more basic, but Naran people carry the local warmth, compensating for the star categories.
 
Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
 
Force Majeure: If unforeseen circumstances or disasters force [Nature Adventure Club] to reschedule a tour or trek, [Nature Adventure Club] reserves the right to change the itinerary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
 
Cancellation After Rescheduling: Our standard cancellation policy applies to clients who reschedule their tours or treks and then cancel them. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
