Taobat (Urdu: ٹاؤبٹ) is a settlement located in Sharda Tehsil within Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is situated 200 kilometers (120 miles) away from Muzaffarabad and 39 kilometers (24 miles) from Kel. This village serves as the final stop in the Neelam Valley. Additionally, it is the closest point from which the Neelam River enters Pakistani territory and transforms into the River Neelum. As of 1998, the population was recorded at 720. Taobat can be reached from Kel via an unpaved road. There is a motel operated by the AJK Tourism and Archeology Department, along with a limited number of hotels.
