4 Days Chillam Joshi Festival Trip Overview

Spring festival is also know as the Chilam Joshi festival. People of Kalash celebrate four days across all Kalash valleys. Spring festival begins with “Milk day”. Ten days prior to the festival, they store milk from their households. People of Kalash offer their libation during this event. The festival reflects their unique cultural richness, the harmony in their society and message of peace to the world. They ask for blessing from their God and pray for a prosperous year of agriculture and health and safety of their herds. During this festival, Kalashi men and women also chose their life patterns. During the Kalash festival Women wear traditional attire with lively colours and their dresses have patterns of flowers on it. They wear beaded necklaces which compliments their dresses and head gears.

Men wear traditional Shalwar Kameez with a waistcoat made of wool. They dance together and sing in a valley tribes as it gives them an opportunity to choose their life partners and announce their names on the last day of the festival.

What is the Trip cancellation Policy?

50% of the total amount will be deducted if cancellation notified 7 days prior to the trip
75% of the total amount will be deducted if cancellation notified 4 days prior to the trip
100% of the total amount will be deducted if cancellation notified within the last 3 days prior to the trip unless the trip is canceled by the management

What are Terms & Conditions?

Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 pm, and check-out time is 10:00 am.
Meals other than those specified are an exclusion from the package.
Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
ACs don’t work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
Hotels are subject to availability; guests will be accommodated in similar properties if unavailable.
The monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
Children above 8 years of age will be considered adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any insurance cover is not a part of the package.
Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest when booking and upon arrival.
