Skardu By Air Trip Overview

You will spend some time in Skardu to explore the town, visit the local Bazar, walk to Kharpocho fort and experience the wild ancient Polo match. After spending two nights in Skardu, you will continue your Skardu Tour towards Khapulu by following the Indus and then the Shyok river to Khaplu valley. Khaplu is one of the largest and most beautiful towns in Baltistan. You will stay at the Khaplu fort (now Serena Hotel) in Khpulu. It’s the former residence of the royal family of Khaplu. You will spend two days in Khaplu, exploring the local Bazar, historical Chaqchan mosque and neighbouring villages.

After visiting Khaplu, you will head back to Skardu via Shigar Valley. You will have lunch in Shigar fort (Serena Hotel) and drive to Skardu for the night stay. From Skardu, you will continue your tour to Astore via Deosai Plateau. Deosai is the second-highest Plateau in the world, home to Himalayan brown bears and many other wild species. Night stay in Astore and next morning drive along Astore river to the junction of Indus River and join Karakoram Highway.

How to Book the Tour ?

50% advance of Ground Package + 100% amount of Airfare for reservation of Standard Package Tour & Flight Tickets. Remaining when you land in Gilgit Airport you will have to pay.

75% advance of Ground Executive Package + 100% amount of Airfare for reservation of Executive Package Tour & Flight Tickets. Remaining when you land in Gilgit Airport you will have to pay.

If flight cancelled, then what will be the options?

If Flight cancelled due to any reason you can transfer your booking to next flight if seats available.
If you cancel the tour due to flight cancellation the your ground package advance amount transferred into our #TripMaker wallet in shape of #TripCash.
PIA will refund your cancelled ticket amount in 25 – 30 working days in your bank account.
You can convert by air tour to by road tour with some extra cost of road travelling.

Is it Private Tour or Group Tour?

Yes. It is totally family & kids friendly private tour with complete security, privacy & family environment.

Can we select our own desire dates for this tour?

Yes it will be totally private trip only for you and your family. Dates also depends on flight availability and weather conditions. You can select your own dates and number of days.

What is the Trip cancellation Policy?

50% of the total amount will be deducted if cancellation notified 7 days prior to the trip
75% of the total amount will be deducted if cancellation notified 4 days prior to the trip
100% of the total amount will be deducted if cancellation notified within the last 3 days prior to the trip unless the trip is canceled by the management

Terms & Conditions

Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 pm, and check-out time is 10:00 am.
Meals other than those specified are an exclusion from the package.
Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
ACs don’t work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
Hotels are subject to availability; guests will be accommodated in similar properties if unavailable.
The monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
Children above 8 years of age will be considered adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any insurance cover is not a part of the package.
Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest when booking and upon arrival.
All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details when booking and upon arrival.

Any deviation from the Vehicle’s planned route at the customer’s request during the tour will be chargeable per km basis.
Any breakage or damage of items at the hotels/resorts/camps/vehicles will be charged at actuals.
The package cost will not accommodate personal expenses like portage, tips, laundry, mineral water, etc.
TripMaker reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any disturbances (i.e., severe weather conditions, political unrest or others).
Any rescheduling/rearrangement of a package due to circumstances beyond TripMaker’s control might invite additional hotel charges and/or vehicle charges.
If a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, the traveler will bear all the expenses from that point onwards. Neither the operator nor TripMaker will be responsible for such decisions or refunds.
Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.

Tour Confirmation Procedure

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking
In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
