Wagah Border

Family trips have always felt special to me. They pull us away from the usual rush and let us spend real time together. I have noticed that exploring new places, tasting unfamiliar food, and soaking in different cultures bring us closer. Children seem to learn the most, just by watching and wandering, while adults find a rare sense of peace in these shared moments. Even a short weekend escape can fill our days with laughter and stories. These journeys teach us patience and teamwork, and we start to value each other more. In the end, it is not just about where we go, but the simple joy of traveling together that stays with us.

Every evening at the India-Pakistan border, there is a kind of celebration that is hard to describe. The energy on both sides is infectious, and soon you find yourself swept up in the excitement. People shout, chant, and move in rhythm, almost as if the whole crowd is one. I watched the tall soldiers from the Pakistani side march forward with bold steps, their black uniforms making them look even more striking. The Indian side, with its larger crowd, felt even more alive. I couldn’t help but be drawn in by the whole scene, especially the spirit on our side. It is one of those experiences that stays with you long after you leave.
